I’m Baaaaaaack!

It’s been about six months since I last posted a blog post or even visited this blog. There were a number of reason for this abandonment of my blog, but it was due in large part because my old blog hosting software, Community Server, died a slow and painful death. It wasn’t CS’s fault for the  demise, but poor installation, management and upgrading on my part that caused the gears to grind to a halt in horrific fashion.

I have to admit that I tried fixing the issue and keeping my old blog posts, but in the end my time was limited and if I tried to resurrect that installation it would be another 6 months before I ever posted another blog entry.

Although I do have the installation on the web and I may try and get some of my entries I decided to start anew, and this is my “Hello world, again”. I’m also going to re-focus my blog and it’s entries to more software development/business topics and focusing on starting a new software development business and activities that may, or may not be related to the development or design of software. My reasoning for this is that there are may wonderful blogs about writing code, but far less about trying to turn that into money, or building a company around writing code.

The blog’s look and feel may change over the next coming weeks, as I’m launching with the Pixeled WP theme and may swap that at a latter time, if it gets a little too rough. To anyone that was following me or reading the blog I apologize and I hope this site will work and perform better then my last attempt.
